Synthite founded in 1972 by C.V Jacob, a young entrepreneur with tenacity and ambition. Smitten by the magic of the spices, that were ubiquitous in his homeland, Kerala, he actively sought out opportunities to develop a novel spice business.
For thousands of years, Kerala's ports have drawn spice traders from around the world, however, it took the foresight of an innovator like Jacob to create a new industry and behold the potential for manufacturing scores of value added products from spices and other botanicals.
Over the past 50 years, Synthite has evolved into a leading purveyor of Fragrance, Flavor, and Botanical extracts. The company distinguishes itself through the quality of its products, customer centricity and commitment to continuous innovation.

Synthite has over 500 natural products in our portfolio, they range from essential oils, floral absolutes, Oleoresins CO2 extracts etc.
We are capable of offering customized Olfactive solutions through partnerships and collaborations with our Perfumery division.
Synthite has always embraced new ideas around technology. We pioneered the idea of ’Cold Crafting' by creating a technology platform for lowering the heat impact on our products, during processing. This minimizes the loss of volatiles, delicate aromas and most importantly, prevents thermal degradation of the extractives. Supercritical extraction, thin film concentration and flash distillation are some components of our proprietary 'Cold Crafting Platform'. We have also leveraged technology for creating traceable supply chains and developing agronomy.
