Chemistry & Uses
Uses in perfumery :
Sclareolate® is a transparent floral note close to linalool, linalyl acetate, coranol and Dihydromyrcenol. Interesting to use in replacement of the latter. Please also note that this molecule has more aromatic facets like clary sage EO, which confers it a real interest to work with lavender, citrus and more generally fougères or fresh tops cologne.
