Fragrance Foundation France: uniting the community shaping the future of fragrance
Founded in New York in 1949 by Annette Green together with visionary brands such as Chanel, Elizabeth Arden, Helena Rubinstein, Coty, Guerlain and Parfums Weil, The Fragrance Foundation set out with a pioneering mission: to educate Americans about the art of perfume. In 1992, Fragrance Foundation France was born, driven by the passion and expertise of Catherine Disdet, Michèle Meyer and Marie-Chantal Fournier — three leading figures in the French fragrance industry.
Today, The Fragrance Foundation is active in 8 countries, with Fragrance Foundation France bringing together 90 members as of June 1st, 2025. It is the only association that represents the full spectrum of fragrance professions — from creation to innovation, craftsmanship to business — and serves as the voice of the entire industry.
